The Dive Team
Rich
Our divemaster Ian, affectionately known as The Captain, hails from the frozen wasteland of northern Canada where his rugged good looks were chiseled by the arctic wind. He now spends his time putting the fun in fun diving with his keen eye for marine life big and small. When he's not making fish friends below the waves, his natural habitat is a karaoke bar.
Ri
Ri grew up in a few African countries – Uganda, Cameron, Tanzania & South Africa. After university and completing his articles in Chartered Accounting, Ri quickly decided it was time to pursue his passion for diving and completed his PADI OWSI certification requirements on Gili Trawangan and spent the next three years teaching diving in Indonesia & Thailand. During this time, he continued to expand his diving knowledge & training and is currently a PADI IDC Staff Instructor. After a summer teaching diving on yachts in the Caribbean, Ri came back to Koh Tao

Diving changes your life! You get to know a new world under water and you learn how to dive safely. As an instructor I am patient and try to give every student the approach they need.

Jesper
Ocean enthusiast who used to dive in Sweden but can’t stand the cold. Always been fascinated by marine life and their ecosystems. Tried scuba diving for the first time in 2013 and was hooked by the underwater beauty. Now living in Thailand teaching people how to dive.
